Yes, wherever possible, if they are available and meet our sustainability and quality standards.

We source all our seafood based on the Australian Marine Conservation Societies (AMCS) “Australia’s Sustainable Seafood Guide.” Our seafood suppliers also provide us with certification of their sustainability practices. We currently use KING (Chinook) SALMON - from New Zealand a better choice for sustainability as rated on the Australian Marine Conservation Societies (AMCS)“Australia’s Sustainable Seafood Guide."

Our King Salmon has the highest oil content of all salmon giving it a wonderful rich flavour and delicate texture. King Salmon is a rich natural source of high-quality long chain OMEGA-3 Oils, which has widely documented health benefits, such as aiding heart and joint health, brain development and helps to boost the immune system. Salmon is also a high-quality source of PROTEIN which plays a number of important roles in the body, including helping your body heal after injury, protecting bone health and maintaining muscle mass during weight loss.

All our Cardboard Boxes are 100% Recyclable. Just pop them in your recycling collection bin when you are finished with them! The Thermal Carton Liners we use can be recycled at RedCycle collection points. Our disposable chopsticks that come with Samurai Sam Bento Boxes are made from environmentally friendly FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) birchwood that can be added to your home compost or commercial compost. They will biodegrade and will not pollute or damage the environment. All our Black Meal Containers and Cardboard Sleeves, are recyclable and can be put in your yellow recycling bin for collection. No. We are committed to avoiding the use of any artificial preservatives, flavourings and colourings in our products.

Our meals are made using fresh ingredients and are then chilled not frozen to give you the best possible eating experience. We suggest that freezing be avoided, as the meals are produced in a chilled environment.

Natures Catch meals have a shelf life of 11 days and Samurai Sam 10 days from production if kept chilled at less than 4C. All our meals carry a USE BY DATE stamp and we recommend they are eaten on or before this date.

Before we seal each meal for you, we flush the air out with a natural sterile gas to remove the oxygen. This keeps each meal as fresh as possible without the use of any artificial preservatives or additives. Then to ensure they stay chilled when we send them to you, we use special chilled boxes with thermal cooling liners and gel freezer pack, that are transported by our fleet of refrigerated vans.

The Vacuum Seal packaging seals the contents from the air and helps to maintain its freshness as well as hold all the contents in place so they aren’t damaged in transit. For Natures Catch Microwavable meals there is no need to remove or pierce the seal before microwaving. The seal will balloon up during heating which aids in the even cooking of the meal. Our meals are great for lunch on the go. Just make sure you keep them chilled using a freezer brick when in a lunch box or keep them in the fridge at work.

We strive to use ingredients that are super high in health and nutritional values. We include Super Foods such as Fish: Premium King Salmon; Dark Leafy Greens: Kale, Spinach, Turnip; Legumes: Peas, Edamame; Whole Grains: Quinoa, Brown Rice; Seaweed: Nori; Honey. All of which have well documented health benefits.

Our products contain: - Fish - Soybean - Sesame Salmon is a natural product and may contain fish bones. The fish contains natural oils and they may separate from the fish. Our meals are made without the use of allergens such as Nuts and milk and all are GLUTEN FREE. Full ingredient details can be found on the individual label of each pack.

Place your order on our website. Order before Tuesday midnight cut off and choose between Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday delivery.  Once we receive your order, we pack your meals in our state-of-the-art kitchen facility. Then to ensure they stay chilled when we send them to you, we use special chilled boxes with thermal cooling liners and gel freezer pack, that are transported by our fleet of refrigerated vans to your doorstep.

Our meals are delivered to you in special waterproof chilled, boxes with thermal cooling liners and gel freezer packs by our fleet of refrigerated vans. Our delivery drivers will leave the waterproof box in a safe location out of the sun wherever possible. Once the order has been delivered the driver will take a photo as proof of delivery and send you a Text Message to let you know it has been delivered.

To keep our meal costs to you as low as possible and also ensure packaging isn’t damaged during delivery we have a minimum spend of $60 per order.

No. You can order Natures catch and Samurai Sam Meals as often or little as you please without the need to enter into any contract.
